The KSGE Days 2025 Scientific Committee cordially invites abstract submissions for presentation during the scientific sessions of the conference.

We welcome contributions that highlight the latest research findings, as well as challenging and intriguing cases from across the globe. This is a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, showcase innovation, and engage with peers in the field.

Abstracts previously presented at other conferences are eligible for submission, provided they have not been published in a journal.

Submitted abstracts may be revised on the website at any time during the abstract submission period. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Please make sure to read the submission guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

Submission Guidelines

• All abstract submissions and presentations must be written in clear, concise English.
• The abstract title should be brief and accurately reflect the content of the abstract. The body of the abstract must be structured into the following five sections, in chronological order:
• Backgrounds/Aims  
• Methods 
• Results 
• Conclusions 
• Keywords
• The abstract body should not exceed 2,000 bytes of text. If you wish to upload tables or images, the text must not exceed 1,300 bytes. The title should be no longer than 120 bytes.
• Tables and images must not exceed 8 cm (width) × 5 cm (height).
• You may revise your abstract online through the abstract submission system until the submission deadline.
• When submitting the final version of your abstract, please ensure that all required fields in the online system are completed. It is the responsibility of the author to review and correct the abstract before submission. Submitters are solely responsible for any errors in the abstract.
• Please note that abstract submission does not constitute registration for the conference. Presenters must complete conference registration by the pre-registration deadline.

Submission Guidelines for Video Abstract

• The purpose of the video abstract is to present novel and interesting cases or case series studies related to diagnostic or therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy.
• Selected videos will be screened at the KSGE Days 2025 exhibition hall. Among them, 7–8 outstanding abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation during the Video Contest Session on September 20. Each presentation will be allotted 5 minutes for the talk and 7 minutes for Q&A.
• Submitters of video abstracts must follow the same submission format as regular abstracts, with the addition of a video file. No video changes will be allowed after the submission deadline.
• The video submission guidelines are as follows:
• Video must be within 5 minutes in length  
• Must include endoscopic procedures or examinations
• Narration is optional, but if included, it must be in English
• Recommended resolution: 1920×1080 or 1280×720 (16:9 aspect ratio)
• File format: MP4
• Maximum file size: 500MB
• Awards will be presented to outstanding video abstracts. Further details will be announced later.
• All procedures and timelines related to video abstracts follow the same schedule as those for regular abstracts.
• If you wish to replace a previously submitted video, please upload the new video and send the following information to ksgedaysinfo@medioffice.or.kr: Submitter’s name, Abstract title, Original submission date, New submission date

Notification of Acceptance

• All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee following standard review procedures.
• Notification of acceptance will be sent via email to the presenting author, corresponding author, and submitting author by August 23, 2025.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

• If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not complete registration by August 31, 2025, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
• If you wish to withdraw an abstract, please notify the KSGE Days 2025 Secretariat at ksgedaysinfo@medioffice.or.kr in writing as soon as possible.
